ou can submit an application as a contender for the Industria national industrial award until March 1, 2020 (inclusive). The Award was established by and is being awarded under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia with the aim of facilitating the introduction of advanced technologies in Russia’s industrial sector. Five companies that score the most points according to votes of a jury will be given the right to exhibit their product/technology at the stand of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia at the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair to be held on July 7-10, 2020.
The "Industria" Government Award is intended to promote the development and adoption of state-of-the-art technologies in industrial production. The Award Board consists of Russian and international industrial innovation experts, heads of technology clusters and of institutes for technology development and innovation. The Board is chaired by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation - Denis Manturov.
In 2019 more than 43,000 visitors from 90 countries, including Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, France, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Japan, and Taiwan, got acquainted with the Award nominees’ projects, opening new doors and approaches for expanding the nominees’ range of operations and creating opportunities for interaction with potential partners.
Complying applications (formalized in accordance with the competition’s rules) will be submitted to the Board of experts for review and evaluation. Submissions of nominees will be accepted until March 1, 2020.
The winner will be announced on July 6, 2020 at the INNOPROM 2020 International Industrial Trade Fair’s opening ceremony.
Nominee selection criteria:
Novelty of technology - assessment of technology’s effectiveness and its advantages compared to solutions already present on the market;
Economic effect - demand analysis of the technology, forecast of its commercialization, market size tendencies, economic benefits for the final customer;
Cross-sectoral nature of the project - assessment of its systemic effect on the industry’s development. What is the extent to which the contender technology could be used in other industries/sectors, improving their productivity, competitiveness, and growth rates;
Focus on global markets - assessment of the scope of exports in the nominee’s overall production. Evidence of success of the company’s international operations.
