Laser Inside Volume Scribing is the Key to LED Microelectronics Technologies
The LLC “Multitech” produced and supplied production equipment uses an unique method of laser micromachining transparent materials. Using this method rather then laser ablation for chipping wafers at LEDs production leads to substrate cut higher quality and higher chips yield.

Optical Cables Speckle Interferometric Examination
Diagnostic systems on the basis of optical fiber have several advantages over some other territory perimeter guard systems because the optical cable can be used in explosion prone environment. A sensitive element of the designed distributed diagnostic system is the fiber-optical cable that responds to motion, vibration and deformation along its whole length. The system’s principle is based on optical cables speckle examination method.

It seems that the first Russian-China seminar “Laser physics and Laser technologies” was held in 1989. A short story of Russian-China relations from that event to current symposium “Laser physics and laser technologies” at Tomsk and seminar “Laser processes physics and applications” at Ryazan is given.

Half a century ago in Nov.1 1962 in an authoritative American physics novelties publisher Physical Review Letters appeared a short report about a sold state device “that performs direct conversion of electrical power to coherent infrared radiation”. In such a way was declared the semiconductor injection laser or the laser diode that eventually became electronics inherent component that complements the transistor and chip where it is necessary to operate optical signals to extend informatics capacity. Native scientists participated in this just not simple but very fascinating injection laser history.

Onboard equipment complex (OEC) is a complex set of systems, subsystems, components that are integrated in a single functional machinery. Increasing the “onboard mentality” is the most important directions for the development of advanced helicopters OECs. This article considers problems and requirements presented for optoelectronic systems that are used in helicopters OECs, such as surveillance flight, aiming, laser locator systems, digital aerial photosystems, image registration equipment.

Compact Modules with red-enhanced SPADs for Photon Detection
Single Photon Avalanche Diodes (SPADs) are a real alternative to traditional glass photomultipliers. Photon registration efficiency of these detectors in near infrared region is high and their temporal resolution is in the range of picoseconds. It is expected that they will be in demand for molecule analysis investigations, fluorescence mean life determination and quantum cryptography.

High-performance hybrid image converter
The results of the unique works of creation, production and use of low-level long-term hybrid image converter. The converter is based on a combination of electron-optical converter and CCD. Working spectral range of the device extended to 1.3 microns. The device is designed for electro-optical devices and night vision devices.
