Laser and Optical Technologies for Producing Nuclear Power Reactors’ Components Heat generating assembly (HGA) of nuclear power reactors that are used in electric power sector is destined to work in the nuclear power plant active sector. The assembly compromises laser cutting work pieces from the zirconium alloy sheet. Due to heating up metal intensively interacts with atmospheric oxygen and with this it’s anticorrosion properties decrease. In this article we discuss problems of measurement and control HGA by means of optical-electronic systems when connecting such components as spacer grids and slap lattices.

A solid-state laser with wavelength continuous tuning in the 281–335nm has been created. Experiments showed its therapy effect without any accessory thermal phenomena. The device undergoes clinical tests.

Thermal conditions of a laser which frequency is stabilized by equality of normally polarized laser components intensities, determines the laser emission parameters stability. These lasers find application in industrial laser interferometers for geo-ecology and machine industry. Predictive scheme and experimental results correspondence has been shown.

Myocardial Laser Revascularization. Is a Crack on the Heart Needed? Despite all the advantages of myocardial laser revascularization it is necessary to understand that high power laser emission rupture means a “crack” on the heart that can lead to an induced arrhythmia. This imposes requirements of obligatory pulse radiation synchronization with cardiac rhythms. How necessary of all other methods is pulse cardiac treatment? Several possible alternate hardware designs for implementation of this method and its future paths of development are discussed in this article.
